YAKIMA, WA // FLYING H YOUTH RANCH

Join us for a week in the wilderness serving the staff and students of the Flying H Youth Ranch in the mountains of Washington State. We will spend our time assisting in the completion of work projects, leading devotions, and creating fun and engaging activities. There will also be intentional times of personal spiritual refreshment and team building.

Founded in 1962, the Flying H Youth Ranch has been rescuing the hearts of troubled teenage boys for more than 50 years. The ranch is equipped with a fully accredited Christian high school, operating cattle ranch, hay fields and cherry orchards, vocational training in horsemanship, woodworking, metalworking, automotive, culinary and more. At risk boys between the ages of 13 and 18 spend a total of 18 months attending classes, gaining a strong work ethic, developing their character, growing in their faith and resolving broken relationships with their families all assisted by the full time missionaries and their families that live at the ranch with the boys.

We are looking forward to sending a great team of able bodied followers of Christ to impact this ministry in a mighty way!

Requirements:

• Participants must be a baptized follower of Jesus Christ. This is to ensure the safety and security of our team and the students at Flying H Ranch. 
• Age limit: 18, or 15-17 and accompanied by at least one parent.  All youth participants would first need to be approved by Flying H Ranch's leadership team - please reach out to the trip contact to inquire.
• Complete a CCV Missions background check screening.
• Attend CCV's Starting Point class (if you haven't already been)
• Attend all pre-trip preparation meetings as set and determined by your trip leader.

Trip Cost: $850

Included in this fee: Group Airfare from Phoenix, accommodations, transportation and meals while in Washington. This also covers medical insurance, luggage fees and pre-trip materials.
Not included: Any personal spending money for meals during travel and souvenirs.
