Overview:
The Islands are a small nation in the Indian Ocean. They are isolated, but not forgotten.
 
In this nation that is 99.9% Muslim, there is no church. God has not called us to take the comfortable route and share Christ only with those who are near and reachable. He has called us to move out of our comfort zones and cross barriers.
 
On this trip we will:

• Travel to remote islands for organized sports, English, and leadership lessons
• Visit homes, share stories, and engage in prayer walking
• Support a local business as mission
• Learn about the needs in this country and how to engage in prayer for the people

 
GoTEN is eager to mobilize new long-term workers to the region. This trip will help you better understand the needs and opportunities to live overseas as a long-term worker.
 
The cost of the trip is $3,300 (includes airfare). Dates: August 6–15, 2026.

Requirements:
Failure to commit to these requirements means CCV has the right to ask you not to participate in the trip.

• Participants must be a baptized follower of Jesus Christ. This is to ensure each person is able to contribute to the ministry work in country.
• Passport must be valid and in hand. Cannot expire before 6 months prior to arriving back in USA.
• Participants 18 and older must complete a CCV Missions background check 
• Attend CCV's Starting Point class (if you haven't already been)
• Attend pre-trip preparation meetings - Meetings TBD 

The trip cost is $3,300. (Application fee of $330)

• Fundraising is encouraged - each participant receives a personal fundraising page upon approval.
• If a cancellation is made after airline tickets have been purchased, you would responsible for the cost of the ticket.
• *All payments/donations made to trip are tax deductible but NOT refundable

Included in the cost: Round trip Airfare to and from destination, accommodations, transportation and meals while in country. This also covers medical insurance, luggage fees, and pre-trip materials
Not included: Passport fees, vaccinations, and any personal spending money for meals during travel and souvenirs.
Travel Information:  All travel arrangement will be made through CCV. 
Shots: There are no shot requirements, but an updated Tetanus shot is Strongly Recommended for ALL trips.

Final Balance is due 2 weeks prior to departure.
