1Mission Family Trip- Rocky Point, Mexico February 2025
This trip with 1MISSION is a great way to serve our neighbors as they build their own communities. Families in Rocky Point have been serving their community and engaging with the local church and have earned a new, safe home for their families. Our teams get the opportunity to go down and build alongside them.
Trip dates: Friday, February 14th - February 17th, 2025. You decide what time you will depart Phoenix on Friday and you will be home Monday around dinner time.
Registration deadline: January 31, 2025 at midnight.
What is the cost? $375.00 per adult (18+yrs); $180.00 per student (12-17 yrs old) traveling with a parent/guardian; and $45.00 for children age 11 and under (children 5 and older are recommended, however younger children are welcome with supervision- no daycare will be provided) $1,250 MAX for Families.
$100 deposit will be charged per person at registration and remaining balance will be adjusted to reflect the total amount due (according to family ages registered for the trip). Final payment is due 1 month prior to travel.
This fee includes: Meals while at 1Mission- Saturday breakfast through Monday Lunch (Friday dinner is on your own); building materials for the house, utility expenses while at Basecamp.
Transportation: You are responsible for transporting yourself down to the 1Mission basecamp. Each vehicle is required to have Mexico Auto Insurance. You can contact your Insurance provider for more information or you can contact Kirk Borg at [email protected]

Passports: A passport or passport card for adults and children 16 yrs old and up. For children 15 years old and under traveling with a parent, a Birth Certificate is required. Lodging Options: You will be staying at a clean and safe (gated) RV park, the 1Mission basecamp, which is about 8 miles outside of Rocky Point proper. Click here to view Basecamp
Facilities include a dining room, bbq area, pool, and showers.
Each participant is responsible for their own sleeping arrangements at Basecamp - RV Trailer, sleeping Tent, or reserving a Bunk in the Bunkhouse. We discourage trip participants from staying in Rocky Point at a hotel or other home. To get the full experience of the trip and to be a part of the team, we ask everyone to stay at basecamp with the team. You can reserve an RV spot for an additional $40.00 for the weekend, this includes full hook ups. If you wish to stay in the bunkhouse room (gender specific), there is an additional charge of $20.00 per person for the weekend. Tent sites are also available at no extra charge.
UPDATE- Please note that all female bunkhouse spots have been filled you will need to bring a tent for accommodations.
